Kirloskar Water-to-Water Heat Pumps use heat extracted from an air-conditioned space by evaporating refrigerant in a shell & tube evaporator, amplify and transfer it to the heat sink by heating water in a shell & tube condenser.

Because most of the heat is transferred rather than generated, heat pumps are far more efficient than conventional heating technologies such as boilers or electric heaters and result in significantly lower operating costs than boilers or electric heating.
